More Than One Table

More Than One Table Psalm 23:5 says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”
This verse is often read as a declaration of victory—and it is. God doesn’t hide His blessings. Genesis 43:32 gives us a fascinating detail in Joseph’s story. When Joseph hosts a meal for his brothers in Egypt, the verse notes that they ate at separate tables. Joseph ate by himself.
The Egyptian officials ate by themselves.
